LumaLeaf is a plant care app that helps users measure light around plants, keep plant care records, identify plants, review possible plant health issues, and manage treatment checklists.
Information We Process
- Camera access: Used only when you choose to take a plant photo for plant identification or diagnosis.
- Photos you select or capture: Used to analyze plant-related images in the app.
- Plant records: Plant names, care notes, light measurements, diagnosis results, treatment checklist status, and history you create in the app.
- Device and app information: Google Mobile Ads may transmit the device IP address (which may indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers for ads, analytics, and fraud prevention. ML Kit may transmit app/device diagnostics and per-installation identifiers. These SDK data flows are separate from the plant records stored on your device.
- Purchase information: Subscription or purchase status is handled through Google Play Billing.
How We Use Information
- To provide plant light measurement, plant care, identification, diagnosis, and treatment checklist features.
- To save and display plant care history.
- To show ads where applicable.
- To provide premium subscription features and purchase restoration.
- To improve app stability and user experience.
Photos and Camera
Camera permission is used only when you choose a photo feature. In the current app version, selected photos are analyzed on your device using a bundled ML Kit model. No cloud photo analysis provider is connected, so the app does not upload those photos for identification. LumaLeaf does not sell your photos.
Data Sharing
LumaLeaf does not sell personal information. Google Mobile Ads and related platform services may receive the device and app information listed above. Google Play handles optional purchases. Google and its services process their data under their own privacy policies.
Advertising Privacy Choices
App versions with advertising privacy controls use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check which privacy messages apply and process your choices. Where required, the app presents a privacy message before requesting ads and provides an advertising privacy options entry in Settings. Availability depends on your app version, region, and applicable message. Your choices may affect which ads can be shown; core light measurements and local plant records do not require accepting personalized ads.
Optional App-improvement Analytics (version 1.2.2 and later)
New app-improvement analytics is off by default and is separate from advertising privacy choices. Only after you enable the optional app-improvement switch in Settings, LumaLeaf uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app visits, measurement starts, saved measurement completion or error categories, viewing results, and saving or linking plant-care records. Our custom event payload does not include your photos, plant or place names, notes, exact lux readings, email, or GPS location.
Google's Analytics SDK also processes an app-instance identifier and technical app, device, session and interaction information, and may derive approximate geographic information from the connection. This is not a claim that no identifiers or technical information are processed. Analytics data is sent to Google over encrypted connections and may be processed outside your country. Google Signals and advertising-ID collection for this analytics integration are not enabled. Existing advertising and ML Kit SDK processing described above remains separate.
You can turn off app-improvement analytics in Settings without losing measurement or local plant-record functions. Turning it off stops new app analytics collection and asks the SDK to reset its local analytics data and app-instance identity; it does not automatically erase events already received by Google. The configured retention period for user-level and event-level Analytics data is two months, with activity-based extension disabled; aggregate reports can have different retention. Contact us at the address above for requests concerning data under our control. Do not send plant photos or sensitive information merely to request deletion.
Data Storage and Deletion
Plant records, app-created photo copies, and preferences remain on your device until you delete them in the app where supported or uninstall the app. Photos already in your gallery are not deleted when you uninstall LumaLeaf. We do not keep a remote copy of plant records or photos. To request deletion of any data under our control, email db0192a@gmail.com with “LumaLeaf data deletion” in the subject. We will confirm what data, if any, we hold and how it can be deleted. Google Play purchase records and Google Mobile Ads data are managed by Google under its retention and account controls; we cannot delete them from Google's systems on its behalf.
Children
LumaLeaf is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us through the developer contact listed on Google Play so we can review and remove it where applicable.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted at the same privacy policy URL.

사진 및 카메라
카메라 권한은 사용자가 사진 기능을 선택할 때만 사용됩니다. 현재 앱 버전에서는 선택한 사진을 기기에 포함된 ML Kit 모델로 분석합니다. 연결된 클라우드 사진 분석 제공자가 없어 식별용 사진을 업로드하지 않습니다. LumaLeaf는 사진을 판매하지 않습니다.
정보 공유

선택적 앱 개선 분석 (1.2.2 이상)
새로운 앱 개선 분석은 기본적으로 꺼져 있고 광고 개인정보 선택과 별개입니다. 설정에서 선택적 앱 개선 분석에 동의한 경우에만 Google Analytics for Firebase를 이용하여 앱 방문, 측정 시작, 측정 저장 완료·오류 유형, 결과 열람, 자리 저장·식물 연결 등의 사용 흐름을 확인합니다. 당사가 직접 보내는 이벤트에는 사진, 식물·자리 이름, 메모, 정확한 lux 값, 이메일 또는 GPS 위치를 포함하지 않습니다.
Google Analytics SDK 자체는 앱 인스턴스 식별자와 기술적인 앱·기기·세션·상호작용 정보도 처리하며 연결 정보로부터 대략적인 지역을 추정할 수 있습니다. 따라서 식별자나 기술적 정보를 전혀 처리하지 않는다는 의미는 아닙니다. 분석 정보는 암호화된 연결로 Google에 전송되고 사용자의 국가 밖에서 처리될 수 있습니다. 이 분석 연결에서는 Google 신호 데이터와 광고 ID 수집을 켜지 않습니다. 앞서 설명한 기존 광고 및 ML Kit SDK 처리는 별도로 적용됩니다.
설정에서 언제든 앱 개선 분석을 끌 수 있고, 거절하거나 철회해도 측정과 기기 내 식물 기록 기능을 사용할 수 있습니다. 끄면 새 앱 분석 수집을 중지하고 SDK의 로컬 분석 데이터와 앱 인스턴스 식별자 초기화를 요청합니다. 이미 Google에 전달된 과거 이벤트가 자동 삭제되는 것은 아닙니다. 사용자 수준·이벤트 수준 분석 데이터 보관 기간은 2개월로 설정하고 새 활동에 따른 기간 연장을 끕니다. 집계 보고서의 보관 방식은 다를 수 있습니다. 당사가 관리하는 데이터의 삭제 등은 위 연락처로 문의할 수 있으며, 삭제 요청만을 위해 식물 사진이나 민감정보를 보내지 않아도 됩니다.
보관 및 삭제
식물 기록, 앱이 만든 사진 사본, 앱 설정은 지원되는 앱 내 삭제 기능을 사용하거나 앱을 삭제할 때까지 사용자의 기기에 남습니다. 기존 갤러리 사진은 LumaLeaf를 삭제해도 지워지지 않습니다. 당사는 식물 기록·사진의 원격 사본을 보관하지 않습니다. 당사가 관리하는 데이터의 삭제를 요청하려면 db0192a@gmail.com으로 제목에 “LumaLeaf data deletion”을 적어 보내 주세요. 당사가 보유한 데이터가 있는지, 삭제 방법이 무엇인지 확인해 답변하겠습니다. 아동
LumaLeaf는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 아동의 개인정보가 제공되었다고 생각되는 경우 Google Play에 표시된 개발자 연락처로 연락해 주시면 관련 내용을 검토하고 필요한 경우 삭제하겠습니다.
